About AAPI Mothers Support Group

SE Asian Mom Laptop by Ogino

This group began in October 2022 to create a space where mothers who identify as AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) can find support for their pre- and early motherhood experiences. Over the years, our group has remained committed to addressing the gaps that Mothers of Color face in an inherently oppressive society, especially when it comes to navigating systems that overlook their unique health and wellness needs. We welcome AAPI mothers and femme parents of all gender, ethnic, socioeconomic status, and immigration status identities.

We believe ALL AAPI mothers deserve a space for solidarity, support, and healing.

Our meetings are structured as open, drop-in peer support groups facilitated by a licensed therapist. Each session’s topics are shaped by the experiences and needs that members bring to the group.

We meet twice a month, every 1st and 3rd Thursday, from 12-1:15pm Pacific Time. 1st Thursdays center "older kid" moms & 3rd Thursdays center perinatal/pregnant/postpartum mom (and, ALL moms are welcome anytime!)
